I have installed Komodo Edit 9.1.0 on Kubuntu/Linux.
Whenever I right click on some text in the editor the line selected is always 4 bellow the one I right clicked on.

Yes! There is an issue logged for this problem. The same thing happens to me on a smaller scale with OpenBox on Linux Mint.
The underlying problem may be related to font scaling. If you’re familiar with that sort of thing, you could try setting the font scale to 1.0 to see if that helps. I don’t know where that setting would be in Kubuntu/KDE specifically, but you might try looking at the general font settings.
