Komodo Edit 9.3: status bar has gone away

Hi people!

I updated my Komodo to the latest version 9.3, but I’m missing the status bar… What happened? Is it possible to be shown again?

I like this resource because we can change easily the file’s charset or syntax (color), like “CSS” or “PHP”, i.e.

Best regards

Seems like there is a bug. Komodo 9.3 is a nightly version of Komodo, there are a lot of bugs

Btw I see the status bar.

You’ve upgraded to the latest nightly version of Komodo. The nightlies are bound to have bugs, so please bear with us. However, thanks very much for the report and for helping us test the next version of Komodo!

Hi people, yes, I’m using the Komodo Edit 9.3 nightly, sorry for this, I forget that we have other versions… :frowning:

So, can I do something now to solve this? Maybe doing the downgrade to 9.2 version? I know that isn’t recommended, but I need the status bar, specially because I need to change the file’s charset always! Here in Brazil the most common charset is Latin 1 (ISO-8859-1), but I’m working with UTF-8 and I need to change old files to this new charset and now I can’t do this…

Thanks!

Please report any and all bugs in the nightly on the bug tracker > https://github.com/Komodo/KomodoEdit/issues/new

If you want a stable build do not use a nightly

I’m not sure how you navigated to the nightlies @paulodetarso but you can get to stable release builds here: http://downloads.activestate.com/Komodo/releases/9.2.1/
