Hello Everyone. I am new here and am having some trouble installing Komodo Edit 8.5.3. I download the installation package and when I go to run it i get the following error message:
THE INSTALLATION PACKAGE COULD NOT BE OPENED.VERIFY THAT THE PACKAGE EXISTS AND THAT YOU CAN ACCESS IT, OR CONTACT THE APPLICATION VENDOR TO VERIFY THAT THIS IS A VALID WINDOWS INSTALLER PACKAGE
I tried downloading and installing 8.5.2 and had the same problem which leads me to believe it is a problem with my PC and not with the file itself. I need komodo edit for a class I’m taking in August and no substitute is acceptable. Please advise what steps I should take to fix the problem. Thank you very much and look forward to using your software.
